Write things down
Writing things down will not only help you organize your thoughts but also help you stay focused on your goals. Writing things down is an effective way to keep track of everything that you have to do. You can jot down your thoughts on a small pocket notebook or a to-do list app on your phone.
Keep things where you can find them
Where did I put my car keys? Don’t you hate when you lay something down and forget where you put it? It happens to the best of us. Try to create a designated spot for all of the commonly used items in your home. Always put those commonly used items back in their spot when you’re done using them.
Stop Procrastinating
Procrastination sets the tone for your life. Continuously putting things off until tomorrow and the next day will do nothing but add more stress and anxiety. If you have a big project to work, try to break it down into small tasks instead of trying to tackle the entire thing. No matter what you do, just keep working towards your goals every day.
Track your spending
Keeping track of how much money you spend has many benefits. First, you’ll get to see where every penny is going. You’ll also be able to identify your spending habits and adjust your spending to improve your financial situation. The easiest way to track your spending is to check your bank statements often.
Declutter your purse
I’m guilty of having a cluttered purse. It’s so easy to just stuff all of my receipts down into my purse and just leave them there. Keeping your purse free of clutter makes it so much easier to find what you need.
Just take your purse and dump it onto over your table or bed. Sort through all of the items, shred old receipts, and throw away the trash. Check the side pockets in your purse and make sure those are cleared out. After you declutter your purse, start decluttering your wallet and get it completely organized.
Store important documents in a safe place
This tip is a no brainer. There are some documents that you need to keep up with for important reasons. Anything from birth certificates, medical records, to tax documents, and so forth. Keep your important documents organized in a file box and store it in a safe, secure place.
Plan your meals
Meal planning might seem like an extra chore to do, but it’s a serious time-saver with tons of benefits. Meal planning will lead you to eat more healthy foods and prevent you from ordering take out food. You’ll never have to worry about what’s for lunch or dinner because it will already be prepared. In a little bit of time, you can plan a week’s worth of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
